Logo and website development of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Pakistan

The FTO (Federal Tax Ombudsman), Pakistan is one of the most prestigious organisations of the country. The main aim of the FTO is to redress the tax payer complaints with special regard to mal-administration. The rulings given by the FTO are not challangeable at any forum except at the level of the President of Pakistan. Absorb feels honoured having designed and developed the logo and website for the office of the FTO in November 2009.

Implementation of Emergency Management System (EMS) at Jinnah Hospital Lahore

Jinnah Hospital is a large-sized public sector hospital. After the implementation of the Emergency Management System in September 2009, the treatment process has been automated starting from the patient registration to the discharge.

In addition to the streamlining of the treatment process, the EMS generates many useful reports which aid the management in the decision making and improvement of the Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.

Development of Emergency Management System (EMS) for Mayo Hospital Lahore

Mayo Hospital has been a prestigious institution of the Asian region since more than a century. Old cultural forces had made it quite difficult to automate the processes of the hospital.

Many previous attempts to implement IT systems at Mayo Hospital had failed. It was the first time ever in October 2009 that an installed Emergency Management System went live. Absorb was blessed with the honour of the development and implementation of this system. The EMS currently running is shortly planned to encompass all the business processes at the Mayo Emergency.

In the long run, all the other departments of the hospital are planned to be integrated in the system. The first one of them will most probably be the Pediatric Surgery Department.

Development of Complaint Management System for the Cantonment Board,Peshawar

Absorb was entrusted with the development of a Complaint Management System for the Cantonment Board Peshawar in June 2009. The main aim of the government was to evolve an IT based, efficient and easy complaint redressal mechanism for the public.

The successfully developed CMS was deployed in the Peshawar Cantonment in October 2009. The system has got the capability of registering public complaints and tracking these department-wise and official-wise. The status of each complaint is available to the complainant on-line.

The system also aids the senior management to monitor the issues of the public visiting the Cantonment Office in addition to the real-time tracking of all the complaints.

Development of Asset Management System for KAN Energy

The Asset management system developed for KAN Energy was deployed successfully in January 2009. This solution enabled the management to utilise their assets in an efficient way. The implementation of this solution has brought greater control and accountability in the working of KAN Energy.
